Giclée (pronounced 'zhee-clay') are a relatively new offering from Borsheim Arts Studio. Giclée is a French word that means "squirt" and describes a type of printing process that uses quality inks that should last for at least 200 years, given the proper care that all artwork deserves. Borsheim Arts Studio has all giclée printed in a professional lab in the United States. Giclée of oil paintings are printed on canvas, while pastel and charcoal originals are printed onto watercolor paper. Both will have about a 2-inch border of white. They are shipped alone, not mounted or framed. This aids in keeping prices low and helps with safe transport.

All giclée made from my original works of fine art will be smaller in size than those original artworks. These giclée are high quality and I have no desire to try to forge my own art. When the proportion of the original does not match the proportion of the size of the giclée, the giclée will be printed to the longest dimension offered.

Use the long dimension in cases in which the sizes above do not match the proportion of the original -- no cropping. For example, if the original art is 25 x 18 and you want a print that is 20 inches tall, the width will be 14.4 inches, instead of 16.
All prices are for unmounted giclée. Shipping within the USA is $20 for one giclée, FREE shipping if two or more images are ordered (but Texas sales tax of 6.75% applies to Texas-based deliveries). Please contact the studio for quotes on international shipping and/or multiple image orders.
