Loveland, Colorado:

If you love sculpture, then please come visit me at my booth during the 11th Annual Loveland Sculpture Invitational Show and Sale August 9-11. Loveland is just one hour north of Denver. Combined with the Sculpture in the Park exhibit, there will be almost 500 sculptors in town. A full weekend to be sure, but you are bound to find works that make your heart pound!

For more information, including maps and ticket information, please visit:

From Paper to Bronze: Sculptors Who Draw:

Well, my first 2-person exhibit featuring figurative works is now over and artist Marian Waldrip and I received many good reviews and sales on a show well hung (thanks to Glenn Schiller). Visitors enjoyed the educational exhibits as well, as we tried to show some of the many steps involved in creating a 3-dimensional work of art.

Thank you to all of you who came out for the exhibit at the Butridge Gallery in Austin or sent kind and supportive thoughts my way. If you were not able to attend and would like to get an idea of what the exhibit was like, please click on the link below:

New Date For Sculptfest:

Sculptfest is a free annual sculpture festival typically held on Austin Museum Day at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum. Recently, though, Sculptfest had to be changed from its September 22nd date to the new one: Sunday, November 3. The location is still the same. To keep updated on this event, please visit:

########################################
Teaching:

Please contact the Austin Sculpture Center (ASC) to receive the fall class schedule (starts in mid-September). I will again teach Sculptural Anatomy. The class is gaining in popularity, so an early sign-up is recommended. The ASC is between sessions now, so I do not yet have confirmation on my class or workshop dates and times. The Austin Sculpture Center may be reached via e-mail at asc@tsos.org or call 512-371-7606.

I hope you are enjoying your summer. I would love to see you in Loveland.

With kindest regards,
