Hand Off Knee is a painting I was really happy with and it turned out to be the first painting I sold. I got to the painting session a little late and had nowhere to set up my easel--the place was that full of artists that night! So I scooched up in front of the group and sat on the floor. I tilted my canvas a little for a composition that appealed to me and was pleased that I could actually paint something while sitting down and with the canvas flat on the floor.
