I was very pleased with how this painting turned out. It has many of my beloved triangles in it and enjoyed trying to acheive the depth I so yearn to capture. The model for Girl From Oregon was a young college student who told us during the first session that she had always wanted to be a model, so now that she was hitchhiking around the country, she planned on doing lots of things she had always wanted to do. Trouble is, I was late to the first session so I didn't get her name and forgot to ask during the second session. She stood us (the artists group) up on the third and final session so I never got her name. But at least I know where she's from!
