Paintings / Room II:
Most of my paintings are named after the models who inspired them. Kytte (pronounced "kit") is a great model
and I have done numerous oil paintings of her. To create this particular painting, I used burnt sienna, permanent blue,
and titanium white. Her hair is blue mostly (like in the comics), although on my computer screen it almost looks black.
[I did not think about the comics angle actually until a year later. Mostly I wanted to use burnt sienna and permanent
blue is the color I used to dull down or complement the former color.] I really love this sketch and have even considered
creating a sculpture of a similar pose. So little time . . .
Some commissions accepted.
