[painting of female foot barefoot]

[bare foot art]
Above: Julia's Foot (detail)

Like feet? Are toes cuter than vienna sausages? You will love this painting! No, I do not have a foot fetish -- at least not that I am aware of (although being bare foot is lots of fun). This lovely human landscape of a painting came about because I was looking for my beloved triangles in an otherwise boring pose. Then I noticed the sweeping shell-like form of the thigh lying over the pretty, bare foot. The drapery of the dress was nice too, with folds pointing directly to the model's foot, helping the eye circle around into the canvas.

This foot painting consists of warm browns and subtle oranges, with some metallic colors thrown in to enhance the curves of the thigh and the folds in the dress.
