Original Oil Painting "Earth & Sky"

I was inspired to paint Earth & Sky after seeing the light falling against the model's body, the lovely triangles, and the dynamic diagonals in an otherwise peaceful pose. Later, I glazed some greens and blues over the pillow and background. Also, this canvas is two inches deep, and I painted the sides of the canvas with a deep purple. Framing is optional on this charming 12" x 12" size original oil painting. This painting is currently (2006) on exhibit with the Franklin Barry Gallery in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
