Aquatic Art by Kelly Borsheim
Besides sculpting the human
figure, I enjoy carving those extraordinary shapes of the sea.
The ocean and its life within have inspired and awed human beings for centuries. Water, like fire,
has great power, both to sooth and destroy. The creatures of the sea are vast and wonderful and
romantically shapely. They are fragile, yet strong. I am interested in portraying the majesty
and the mystery of these exotic creatures in the hopes that we may appreciate their presence on
this Earth and allow them to carry on.
Many of the pages of the individual sculptures will include some text and images of the work as it was being created. Thank you for visiting.
