About the Instructor:
In 1996, artist Kelly Borsheim created her first Web site to try to bring her hobby beeswax candle business to a larger audience.
By the fall of 2000, her business was so busy that she spent four solid months just packaging orders. Needing to get back to her
art, she sold Lumina Candles in Jan 2001 and created borsheimarts.com.
She continues to sell art from her Web site, as well as using her site to assist her galleries in sales. In 2001, she received over $10,000 in sales of
her art, not including the repeat sales that her Web site has generated since then with her new collectors.
She has also created many other domain name sites including:
In the late 1990s, her part-time editor job at hoovers.com landed her a request to teach HTML to Hoovers' employees. That was the first time she taught HTML and Web site creation.
